Salahi
A dubious new verb meaning to crash a party, after Tareq and Michaele Salahi.

“When Tareq and Michaele Salahi crashed the White House state dinner last month, they gave Washington — and perhaps the English language — a new verb,” Michael Falcone observed in a splendid analysis for Politco:

Just two weeks after their infamous stunt, and at the height of the holiday party season, the name “Salahi” has become synonymous with the naughty habit of sneaking into a soiree uninvited. …
The phrase has been on the lips of invited guests and wannabe partygoers inside the Beltway and beyond. Last weekend, “Salahi” received perhaps its most notable boost in a New York Times column by Maureen Dowd.
“The White House failure to stop the Salahis from Salahing their way past security checkpoints will leave people smirking for a while,” she wrote.
